Pre-launching is not mandatory, but can be an excellent idea for those with a small network or audience – because it allows you to test your theory, gather feedback and to understand your future students' obstacles and questions better – before producing your course.
Sell or gift your future program at a discounted price to 3-10 people in your network/audience. Conduct an in-depth 1:1 call with each of them, where you take them through each chapter in your drafted curriculum. As you explain the concepts the chapters and lessons are going to teach, you have an ongoing dialogue with the student – you must write down all their questions.
Strategy One - 8-Week Roadmap:
Sell your future program at full (or discounted) price to 5-10 people in your network/audience. Instead of talking to them 1:1 – you conduct weekly group meetings. You will do this for the same amount of weeks that you have chapters. E.g. 6 chapters = 6 total group meetings hosted over 6 weeks. In each meeting you focus on the principles you’re planning to teach in one chapter. Again, you write down all their questions – and take them into consideration in your curriculum.
Strategy Two - 10-14 Week Roadmap:
